Bariani Olive Oil ReviewI had the opportunity to try Bariani Olive Oil, courtesy of Bariani Oil Company and was pleasantly pleased.
I heard of this company from a Raw Food video I had happened to watch. I thought let's give this a try. So I contacted Bariani to see if we could try some of their Oils. They sent me two bottles to try and I LOVE both of them. Actually, I couldn't find the second bottle and had to use another Olive Oil and wasn't happy (haha) so I searched the cabinets and Wa La...there it was. I was so happy to find it.
I use Bariani Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil on many things, such as, all sorts of salads, made dressings with it, cooked alittle with it (I eat more Raw) and every time I used Bariani, I was extremely satisfied. It has such an amazing taste on everything I used it for. Plus, it is extremely healthier for you then other oils.

Here's alittle history I retrieved from their site::
The Bariani family has origins deep rooted in the Northern Italian region of Lombardy. Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs and artisans, the family's ideals have never changed and commitment undeterred.
After closing a successful construction business in Italy in the late 1980s, the family moved to Northern California to obtain a good education for the sons Luigi, Enrico, Emanuele, and Sebastian and to enjoy the lifestyle found in the United States. After settling in Sacramento in 1989, the family gained the "green card" except for the middle son Enrico who would eventually receive his in January 1998.
For the first few years the family relied on working part time for friends and with their help started producing olive oil for their own use. Relying on his metal working background, the father, Angelo, built his own press and crusher which were in use for the first few years of production . Only then, with the encouragement of friends, the family decided to start their own olive oil company.
The timing couldn't have been better.
Luigi had just graduated from Sacramento State University in international business and marketing while Enrico received a degree in landscape architecture from UC Davis. Regardless, both devoted their full time to the family business and with their parents Angelo and Santa helped shape the business. However in 1994, the eldest son Luigi, married and moved to Germany and to this day supports the company he helped create.
In 1996, Emanuele received his degree in psychology from UC Davis and in 1998 moved to San Francisco to represent the company in one of the most important raw food, and health conscious markets in the nation.
Finally in 2001, Sebastian, the youngest son in the family, finished his studies in architecture from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and returned to Sacramento to aid the growing business.
Today, Bariani Olive Oil is committed in producing an authentic extra virgin olive oil which is raw and once only available thru the turn of the century. Produced in a limited quantity, the olive oil is a registered organic product and with the particular and discriminatory taste of the family, the quality is always guaranteed.
